A. Kaušpėdas and V. Diawara's band "KAnDIs" to hold exclusive concert following surprise news from Argentina

The group "KAnDIs", comprised of Algirdas Kaušpėdas and Viktoras Diawara, invites fans to an exclusive concert in Vilnius. This Wednesday, December 10th, the two icons of Lithuanian music will perform at the capital’s music club "Tamsta". The A. Kaušpėdas and V. Diawara duet returns with a rare and exclusive concert that will feature both solo songs and new versions of "Antis" group hits. Tickets for the concert are distributed by the ticket platform "Shownet.lt".

Last week, the duet also received an unexpected surprise gift from Argentina. DJ Tecnoman SF created a remix of "KAnDIs" song "Vėjas", which has already appeared on all music platforms. 

"This remix caught us off guard like a Christmas present and was a pleasant surprise. We are delighted that everyone can now listen to the remix," praised V. Diawara regarding the new track.

Tecnoman SF (real name Julián Bauzá), who created "Vėjas (TSF Remix)", lives in Buenos Aires and visited a "Depeche Mode" fan event in Lithuania last week. The original single "Vėjas" was released in 2019 and has since become one of "KAnDIs" most popular songs. Tecnoman SF has also created several official remixes for the British group "Erasure", which were released by the company "Mute".

The tandem of Algirdas Kaušpėdas and Viktoras Diawara stands out for its creative freedom and ability to keep the audience in constant suspense, with each concert becoming a creative experiment. At the "Tamsta" music club on Wednesday, not only will the group's best songs be performed, but also the legendary "Antis" tracks "Zombiai", "Pokštas" , "Kažkas atsitiko", "Alio, alio", "Alyvos", and others.

"KAnDIs" officially formed at the end of 2018. The duet released their debut album "Už poliarinio rato" in 2019. The tracks "Vėjas", "Moteris", and the title song "Už poliarinio rato" became the most popular from it. In the summer of 2023, the group's second album "ANTIS kaip KAnDIs" was presented.
