Biplan celebrates anniversary: will hold a grand concert "Biplan 30"

One of the longest continuously active Lithuanian music bands, Biplan is among the all-time most popular Lithuanian artists by the number of hits. The band, known in probably every Lithuanian home for the songs "Labas rytas", "Kino filmai", "Amore", "O mes prie jūros", "Anzelmutė" and others, is celebrating its 30th anniversary on stage and invites to a grand concert.

In the spring, the group will hold an exclusive performance, which will take place on April 11 at the "Compensa" concert hall in Vilnius. Biplan will perform all their best hits, songs from the latest album "Viskas kaip patinka tau", and will give many gifts and impressive surprises.

"When I hear or say 'Biplan 30', I think that this statement is not about years or that it is not said about our band," says Maksas Melmanas. "Thirty years is a round date and a very significant one. Therefore, although I do not overemphasize birthdays, they are very important, because it is a celebration that we organize and give to others – our listeners, without whom there would be no Biplan, no number 30".

At the end of last week, the band's fans went wild at two sold-out concerts in Vilnius and Palanga, where the musicians presented their new album "Viskas kaip patinka tau", released after 6 years. The band Biplan, formed in 1995, has released a total of 8 studio albums, 2 live albums, and one mini-album during its career.

The next concerts of Biplan, who have won all the most important Lithuanian music awards, will take place on December 26 at "Renginių kombinatas" in Klaipėda, on December 30 at the "Saulė" concert hall in Šiauliai, and the year will end on December 31 at the New Year's concert at the Kaunas cultural center "Girstutis".
