The wait is over for Fun Lovin' Criminals fans – after a 15-year hiatus, the cult band has released a new studio album. The album, A Matter of Time, featuring 10 new songs, was released last week. The famous band will perform their latest songs and greatest hits during their world tour concert in Lithuania. The only Fun Lovin' Criminals concert will take place on November 2 at the Vakaris Vilnius concert hall.
The band's last studio album was released in 2010, when their sixth record, Classic Fantastic, came out. It was the last work recorded with band member Huey Morgan, who left Fun Lovin Criminals in 2021. The new album, A Matter of Time, was introduced with two songs – the singles Little Bit Further and Full Stop. Tickets for the Fun Lovin' Criminals concert are available on the ticket distribution platform Shownet.lt.
The new album, A Matter of Time, features 10 new songs written, recorded, and arranged by the band members themselves. The new material was recorded at Lopez Motors studio in Miami (USA). The seventh studio album by Fun Lovin' Criminals is dedicated to the late father of the band's leader, Brian "Fast" Leiser.
The album was produced by Grammy Award-winning American sound engineer Tim Latham, who has worked with Lou Reed, Black Eyed Peas, Britney Spears, Erykah Badu, A Tribe Called Quest, Gym Class Heroes, The Psychedelic Furs, Arrested Development, De La Soul, and even Cesária Évora.
The cult US band Fun Lovin' Criminals will return to Lithuania this autumn for the first time since 2006, when they appeared at the Radiocentras radio station awards. The artists behind hits such as Scooby Snacks, The Fun Lovin' Criminal, Love Unlimited, Korean Bodega, Loco, and others will perform at the Vakaris Vilnius concert hall on November 2. Tickets for the band's concert can be purchased on the ticket distribution platform Shownet.lt.
