Lemon Joy will end the summer with spectacular concerts in Palanga, Vilnius, and Kaunas

2025.08.21 16:11

The band Lemon Joy, which is rarely seen on stage, invites fans to its traditional August concerts. This Saturday (August 23), the band will give an exclusive performance at the Palanga Concert Hall. The event in Lithuania's summer capital will be special because it is also Igor Kofas' birthday. Additional ticket sections for this concert are now open.

On August 26, the band will perform in Vilnius at Vasaros Terasa, where all tickets were sold out back in July. The very next day, on August 27, Lemon Joy will play in Kaunas at the Oldman Kaunas club, where the last tickets are on sale. At the concerts, the band will present their latest song, "Žinai", and their biggest career hits.

Tickets for Lemon Joy concerts in Palanga, Vilnius, and Kaunas can be purchased on the ticket distribution platform Shownet.lt, while music recordings and merchandise are available on Buymusic.lt. The light show in Palanga will be created by lighting designer Arvydas Buinauskas.

August – a special month

August concerts have become a tradition for the band Lemon Joy. Every performance by this cult band, even without birthdays, becomes a real celebration for its fans and music lovers who are passionate about synthpop and rock music. The musicians themselves are eagerly preparing for three exceptional concerts in Palanga, Vilnius, and Kaunas.

"August is one of my favorite months, and August concerts are always very special," says Igoris Kofas.

Tickets for the Vilnius concert are sold out

The band Lemon Joy, which does not perform often, has earned the affection of loyal fans. The band's concert in Vilnius has attracted a lot of interest from fans. The performance, which will take place on Tuesday (August 26) on the stage of the capital's Vasaros Terasa, will be sold out—all tickets for this concert were sold out back in July. A small number of tickets remain for the other two Lemon Joy concerts, which the band will hold on August 23 at the Palanga Concert Hall and on August 27 at the Oldman Kaunas club.

Preparing an exceptional program

Lemon Joy, known for its exceptional concerts, is preparing a special program featuring its greatest hits, including "Mylėt tave taip beprotiška ir keista", "Kažkada", "Balta meilė", "Karolis," "Ylang Ylang," and many others. Of course, the band's latest song, "Žinai", will also be performed at the concerts. After six years of silence, the new song was warmly received by music lovers: "Žinai" stormed the Lithuanian radio station charts, the number of plays on the Spotify music platform is approaching 100,000, and the song's video has been viewed almost 400,000 times on the YouTube music channel.

The band is not lacking in attention

Although they rarely appear on stage, the band is not lacking in attention. This year, Lemon Joy re-released their cult 1999 album "Mylėt tave taip beprotiška ir keista" on vinyl, and earlier this year, DJ Jovani, Danell Arma, and Rūta Mur created new versions of the album's title track. Katarsis, who represented Lithuania at Eurovision, covered the band's song "Balta meilė", which they now perform at all their concerts. Earlier, the band's song "Ne apie mus (Koks pašėlęs tempas)" made it to the finals of the LRT television project "Dainuoju Lietuva." This summer, the online store Buymusic.lt released brand new, special edition Lemon Joy merchandise.
