“Lemon Joy” Returns for Summer Concerts

2025.05.12 15:51

Rarely seen on stage, “Lemon Joy” is set to delight fans with a series of exclusive concerts this June and August. Over the weekend, the band announced additional shows, including a performance at the Palanga Concert Hall on August 23 – coinciding with lead singer Igoris Kofas’ birthday. They will also perform in Vilnius at Vasaros Terasa on August 26, and in Kaunas at Oldman Kaunas on August 27.

Tickets are already available for the previously announced concert at Oldman Palanga on June 26. Known for their unique live shows, “Lemon Joy” is preparing a special setlist featuring their greatest hits, including “Mylėt tave taip beprotiška ir keista,” “Kažkada,” “Balta meilė,” “Ylang Ylang,” and more. The band has also hinted on social media about a surprise to be revealed on May 14.

Although their performances are infrequent, “Lemon Joy” continues to draw significant attention. This year, the band reissued their iconic 1999 album “Mylėt tave taip beprotiška ir keista” on vinyl. The album’s title track was reimagined last year by Jovani, Danell Arma, and Rūta Mur.

Just a few weeks ago, Lithuania’s Eurovision representatives “Katarsis” released their own version of “Balta meilė,” while another “Lemon Joy” song, “Ne apie mus (Koks pašėlęs tempas),” topped the final selection of LRT’s “Dainuoju Lietuvą” project over the weekend.

Tickets for “Lemon Joy’s” summer concerts are available at Shownet.lt, while music and merchandise can be found at Buymusic.lt.
