An Extraordinary Experience for Pink Floyd Fans Arrives in Vilnius

2025.04.11 10:35

Anyone who has ever seen a Pink Floyd concert live would undoubtedly agree – it’s an extraordinary experience that stays in memory for a lifetime. As this cannot be recreated, a group of professional British musicians set out to honor the band’s legacy by creating a project that delivers, as closely as possible, the true feeling of a Pink Floyd performance to devoted music lovers. That’s how UK Pink Floyd Experience was born – a more than two-hour-long spatial sound and light show recreating the legendary rockers’ concert atmosphere, and as part of their latest tour, they are making a stop in Lithuania.

The concert will take place at Twinsbet Arena in Vilnius, with the venue transformed into a cozier, more intimate space suited to the immersive experience. UK Pink Floyd Experience will perform there on August 27.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s iconic album Wish You Were Here. The new UK Pink Floyd Experience tour is dedicated to this milestone. Audiences will hear the album performed live in its entirety, alongside the band’s greatest hits from other era-defining records – The Division Bell, The Wall, Animals, and of course, The Dark Side of The Moon.

UK Pink Floyd Experience – Wish You Were Here live:

Wish You Were Here is Pink Floyd’s ninth studio album, released on September 12, 1975. Its songs not only topped music charts – the album went gold, with tens of millions of copies sold worldwide. It has since been named one of the greatest albums of all time, making it onto Rolling Stone magazine’s 2023 list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Moreover, Pink Floyd members Richard Wright and David Gilmour have both called Wish You Were Here their favorite album by the band.

It’s no surprise, then, that this year’s UK Pink Floyd Experience tour is entirely dedicated to it. The concert in Vilnius will take place at Twinsbet Arena at the end of summer – on August 27. Tickets are available via Bilietai.lt. The event in Lithuania is organized by music agency M.P.3, which this year also invites audiences to the Scorpions 60th anniversary tour concert in Riga.
