"Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys" Continue Their Odyssey Through Lithuania’s Cultures: Is It Hard to Get Lip Fillers These Days?
After shaking up Alytus and Mažeikiai in February, Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys are gearing up for the next leg of their tour through Lithuania’s cultural landscape—bringing their signature energy, humor, and surprises to smaller towns across the country. And with March and April still ahead, the adventure is far from over. Along the way, the band not only discovers new stories and inspirations for future songs but also finds ways to surprise audiences at every stop.
"Is it hard to get lip fillers these days? Well, I might not be the best person to ask," says lead vocalist and guitarist Martynas Enčius, flashing a mischievous smile when asked about an unexpected new stage decoration.
By now, it’s no secret that every AKD concert is more than just a showcase of their greatest hits—it’s a spectacle, a theatrical experience, filled with absurdity and a touch of mystery. And, as always, the band has a story to explain it all.
"We, Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys, are touring Lithuania—and with us, travels a giant mouth. It’s so big, our entire band could comfortably fit inside. Where did it come from? We were brainstorming ideas for something mesmerizing yet slightly eerie to have on stage. Then, one of us—mouth full of food—blurted out, ‘What about a mouth?’ And just like that, revelation!" reveals Martynas.
According to the band, a mouth can say something brilliant or completely nonsensical in the blink of an eye. It can spread truth or start rumors. It can ruin your entire evening with a terrible joke or make an entire audience burst into laughter.
"So, we’re bringing this mouth to your town—not just as a stage prop, but as a mirror to our everyday reality. And what will come out of it? Well, that’s a surprise. As always," tease Lithuania’s own Kašpirovskiai.
"Our concerts in Vilkaviškis, Šiauliai, Telšiai, and beyond won’t just be music events—they’ll be spectacles full of unexpected twists. Magicians pull rabbits out of hats. We pull surprises out of a mouth," laughs Martynas Enčius.
This time around, Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys are taking their quirky, energetic show to cultural centers across Lithuania’s smaller towns, before wrapping things up in the capital. The final stop? April 12 at Vilnius’ “Vakaris” Concert Hall.
Having performed almost everywhere during their long and colorful career, the band promises to share hilarious, sometimes unbelievable stories from their adventures on the road and in life.
