The French chanson and jazz duo Duo Gadjo (France) — Isabelle Fontaine and Jeff Magidson — together with actress Virginija Kochanskytė, invite you to an exceptional evening of music and literature at the Molėtai Cultural Centre.
The programme “A Romantic Evening in Paris” brings to life the legendary world of the French capital, featuring some of the most beloved chansons by Édith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Yves Montand, Charles Trenet, and other icons of French music. These timeless melodies tell stories of love, passion for life, longing, and the unmistakable spirit of Paris.
Duo Gadjo’s music subtly blends the tradition of French chanson with jazz improvisation and the legendary Gypsy Jazzstyle. Their performances transport listeners to the charming streets of Montmartre, old Parisian cafés, and the music salons of 20th-century Paris, where many songs now known and loved around the world were born.
Actress Virginija Kochanskytė will add a special dimension to the atmosphere of the evening.
