One of Lithuania’s most prominent vocal coaches and performers, Indrė Launikonytė, invites audiences on a special musical journey – the concert “The Age of Rock: The Most Beautiful Ballads”, taking place on September 11 at the music club “Vandenis.” During this acoustic evening, legendary rock songs will come to life in unique arrangements.

For many years, Indrė Launikonytė has captivated listeners not only with her distinctive voice and vocal mastery, but also with her ability to convey genuine emotion through music. The performer says that rock music has always held a special place in her heart – it is a genre that allows the broadest expression of emotions and vocal colors.

“I have always felt that rock music is one of the richest musical genres in terms of color and expression. When singing rock songs, I feel how naturally a wider range of vocal tones emerges compared to any other musical style. It feels as though the music within me unfolds into countless layers, like a matrix – no other style of music makes me feel this deeply. My heart beats to the rhythm of rock music,” says the performer.

At the concert “The Age of Rock: The Most Beautiful Ballads,” audiences will hear songs by legendary bands and artists such as Queen, Scorpions, Roxette, Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Nirvana, AC/DC, and many others, reimagined especially for this evening.

“The concert will feature the most beautiful classic rock, glam rock, pop rock, and hard rock songs from different eras, performed in acoustic arrangements. I believe every listener will leave with their own favorite song from the evening. I’m certain it will be a sincere and heartfelt experience, because that is what rock music is – and that is who I am,” says Indrė.

A special place in the concert will be dedicated to the music of Queen. One of the most meaningful songs of the evening for Indrė herself will be the legendary “Show Must Go On.” It is one of the first songs she remembers from her childhood.

“It was summer, we had arrived at my grandmother’s house, and I spent time sitting in my parents’ car simply because the radio was playing. When I heard ‘Show Must Go On,’ I was struck by the melody, Freddie Mercury’s powerful voice, and the instrumental arrangement. I remember that little version of myself and the overwhelming impression the song left on me. ‘Show Must Go On’ continued to accompany me through important moments in my life,” she recalls.

The performer believes this concert will be not only a musical but also an emotional experience and invites all listeners to immerse themselves in it.

“I warmly invite everyone to join and draw energy from the timeless power of rock music,” Indrė says with a smile.

The concerts “The Age of Rock: The Most Beautiful Ballads” are organized by the musical projects agency “Pepper Live.”
