“Summer Sound 2025” Aims to Become the Brightest Beach Party of the Summer: First Lineup Announced

As festival organizers increasingly announce cancellations for 2025 events, Latvia’s “Summer Sound” beach festival shows no signs of slowing down and is set to become the biggest summer party in the Baltics. Taking place on August 1-2 in Liepāja, the festival has announced that the Swedish electronic music sensation Galantis will take the main stage.

“Summer Sound” annually attracts thousands of music lovers from all over the Baltics and has already become a familiar and much-loved experience for Lithuanians. Set right on the beach, the festival guarantees experiences worth envy-inducing Instagram photos – and next summer, those photos will undoubtedly feature Galantis.

Galantis is a renowned Swedish electronic music project led by producer Christian Karlsson (also known as Bloodshy, a member of Miike Snow). Currently, Galantis boasts billions of streams and views across digital platforms for their performances and music videos.

Galantis collaborated with Little Mix and David Guetta on the 2021 summer hit “Heartbreak Anthem,” which spent 13 weeks on the UK music charts. They are also behind globally popular tracks such as “No Money,” “Peanut Butter Jelly,” and “Runaway (U & I).”

It’s no longer a secret that festivalgoers will also witness performances by other stars next summer. Liepāja will shake to the beats of hip-hop heavyweight Ozols, hitmaker Olas, indie magicians Carnival Youth, and lyrical masters Fiņķis, Wiesulis, and Sangvn. Also on the lineup are the comedic rock band Pirmasis Kurss, the charming Sudrabu Sirds, and performers like Miks Galvanovskis, Pienvedēja Piedzīvojumi, rock group Inokentijs Mārpls, Galeniex, and many more exciting names that organizers promise to reveal soon.

“Summer Sound 2025” is described as more than just a music festival. It promises to be an unforgettable summer experience, as proven by photos from previous years. Expect dancing on the seashore, a weekend filled not only with live music but also with delicious food, endless fun, and plenty of adventures.
