The Roop to Ignite a Different Kind of Valentine’s in Palanga: Plenty of Intrigue Promised

2024.12.04 10:25

For those in love, those longing, those apart, those quarreling, those searching, and those simply celebrating, The Roop invites everyone to come together on February 14 at the Palanga Concert Hall. This event promises to be the biggest adventure on the coast that day – “Valentine on Fire.” “While we should celebrate love every day, we’re going to make this Valentine even hotter,” teases the famous trio.

This gathering will be a unique experience, full of energy, love, and unforgettable moments. Held in a special coastal venue chosen specifically for the occasion, it will radiate warmth and intimacy.

One thing’s for sure – there will be no shortage of romance. The Roop will perform their greatest hits, including “On Fire,” “Discoteque,” “Pavasaris,” and “Šiluma.” The audience will also be treated to something truly special – brand-new songs from their upcoming album, set to release in late spring.

"The concert will be longer than our usual performances, so we’ll play some of the songs that are very dear to us but often don’t fit into city festivals or TV projects. We’re preparing a colorful show – there will be fire, calm moments, our signature eccentricity, energy, and vibrancy. Just like love itself," smiles lead singer Vaidotas Valiukevičius.

He believes that while we should express our feelings to each other every day, it often gets lost amidst work, worries, and the rush of life. This concert will be a perfect opportunity to make up for it.

"Let’s make the roof of the Palanga Concert Hall shake with emotions. But for that, we need hearts ablaze. It’s no coincidence we named the concert ‘Valentine on Fire’ – we have to live up to it. The celebration falls on a Friday, so the passion will carry through the weekend," Vaidotas adds with intrigue.

The band is keeping some surprises under wraps, but The Roop is known for their unique aesthetics and original performances. Those joining the Valentine’s Day celebration on February 14 at the Palanga Concert Hall are guaranteed to be swept up in an emotional musical adventure. Tickets are available at Shownet.lt.

The concert is organized by the music agency M.P.3, which also invites audiences this year to Antis’s 40th anniversary shows with Algirdas Kaušpėdas and Viktoras Diawara in Vilnius and Palanga, Biplan’s festive concert in December at Tamsta Club, Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio dantys’s New Year’s Eve show in Palanga, and next year to the legendary U.S. rapper The Game’s concert at Compensa and Scorpions’ 60th-anniversary and only Baltic performance in Riga.
