“Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio dantys” Present an Office Anthem: A Special Dance to Boost Productivity

Deadline, email, resources, finances, project, audit, invoice, career! This is the new theme embraced by “Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio dantys,” as they release the premiere of their latest song “Į ofisą” ("To the Office") and its accompanying video clip, along with a specially created dance. "By getting workers off their ergonomic chairs and breaking the routine, we hope to boost Lithuania's GDP," the band members say, tightly fastening their starched ties as they outline the goals of their new track.

According to them, the song is dedicated to all the heroes who, every day, give 101 percent of themselves to their office jobs.

“The song’s lyrics were born during an internal group quatrain contest. While we don’t work in offices ourselves, we’ve heard, participated, and seen how life unfolds there – rivers of coffee flow, spreadsheets roam around, and brainstorming extends not only to the foosball tables but also to weekend canoe trips. This couldn’t go unsung,” says Kašpirovskis Martynas.

“What happens after office hours also deserved a verse of its own. Office parties are the best because they’re on the office’s tab. Plus, you can relax, sit the most attractive colleague on your lap, and say everything you think about them and others. And on Monday, everyone acts as if nothing happened. Or not,” adds group member Karolis.

For this song, “Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio dantys” created a special dance, encouraging all office workers to use it as a workout during smoke breaks or gossip sessions.

“People spend most of their lives working, and professors are sounding the alarm: sedentary work has become a kind of epidemic – not only does the spine suffer, but the likelihood of getting more tired or downhearted increases, and work software gets replaced by Facebook and Tinder without anyone noticing. Therefore, we urge people to work in a new way – boost productivity through dance and song,” Martynas explains seriously.
