Challenges for the Organizers of the Impressive Hans Zimmer Project: A Village to Be Set Up Backstage
Very soon, on October 26, the most famous Hollywood movie songs will be performed by a 100-musician symphonic orchestra at "Twinsbet" Arena in Vilnius. For the first time in Lithuania, the famous music project of the world’s leading film composer Hans Zimmer, The World of Hans Zimmer, will take place. The fact that this will be an impressive and highly professional event is not only shown by the fact that all tickets are sold out (today it was announced that tickets for the last available arena sectors are being released), but also by the enormous demands placed on the organizers by the creators.
“We have to set up 18 cozy rooms for the performers backstage, including five offices for the tour managers, even for accounting. There aren’t enough individual spaces behind the scenes, so we have to figure out how to redesign and build them, and where to get all the necessary furniture, carpets, refrigerators, and other details to create comfort. This is a real challenge – we will essentially have to set up an entire village backstage with restaurants, rest areas, and laundry facilities,” says Urtė Abrasonytė, the project manager of the concert-organizing agency M.P.3.
It also proved challenging to secure 103 available hotel rooms for that date. Additionally, a large quantity of specially sized black towels will be sent from abroad.
“We’ve received all kinds of requirements from organizers before, having prepared concerts for many foreign performers and bands. However, here we encountered the issue that everything is needed in huge quantities. There are also very specific instructions for the setup of restaurants and food. They’ve listed every musician's allergies, what sauces should be available, who is a vegetarian, who is vegan. The dishes also need to be ceramic—no plastic or paper allowed,” says U. Abrasonytė.

In the exclusive concert of the worldwide A New Dimension tour, personally curated by the legendary composer himself, a 100-musician symphony orchestra (including Lithuanian multi-instrumentalist Saulius Petreikis!) and world-renowned soloists will perform the well-known music from the most famous Hollywood films.
The World of Hans Zimmer is a globally acclaimed musical project that allows audiences to experience the magic of the most famous film music live, performed by a full symphony orchestra. According to Hans Zimmer himself, one of the goals of these concerts is to preserve the culture of orchestras and let listeners rediscover the unique shades of orchestral music and get a fresh perspective on his compositions.
Although Hans Zimmer’s music has inspired many performers and is played in concerts worldwide, The World of Hans Zimmer is the only official project of this composer’s music, with Hans Zimmer personally overseeing the quality as the curator and music director of the project.
The event in Lithuania will be even more remarkable for the country, as the orchestra will feature the famous Lithuanian multi-instrumentalist Saulius Petreikis.

The World of Hans Zimmer will present a new music program, and the tour title A New Dimension reflects that the composer has selected and arranged new pieces from his vast catalog of film music for these performances. Played live by the symphony orchestra, these pieces will immerse listeners in new dimensions of experience.

The first performance of Hans Zimmer’s official project The World of Hans Zimmer in Lithuania will take place at "Twinsbet" Arena in Vilnius on October 26.
Tickets for the newly opened arena sectors are available at bilietai.lt.
This year, the concert-organizing music agency M.P.3 also invites you to the jubilee tour performance of the legendary German synthpop group Camouflage on November 24 at Compensa.
