Andrew Lloyd Webber’s phenomenal musical "The Phantom of the Opera" is kicking off preparations for its grandiose tour in Lithuania. The musical sensation, currently continuing its European tour, was brought to our country by 15 large shipping containers. Alongside all the production's technical equipment and scenery came a record number of wardrobe items—including 230 luxury costumes and over 1,000 unique masks, crowns, tiaras, shoes, and other details. The famous, one-ton chandelier has also arrived.

One of the most spectacular stage productions of all time, A.L. Webber’s musical "The Phantom of the Opera," celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and will be presented to the Lithuanian public as early as next week. A record-breaking series of eight consecutive performances will take place from May 19th to 24th at "Arena Vilnius" (formerly Twinsbet Arena). The musical has already attracted exceptional interest: two of these shows have seen 98% of tickets sold, over half have been purchased for the remaining four, and two additional shows were announced due to massive demand. Tickets can be purchased at "Bilietai.lt" box offices and online at

A large team of 130 professionals—including talented actors, technicians, and a live orchestra—is working on the implementation of "The Phantom of the Opera" tour. The impressive scale of the event is also proved by the fact that 14 wardrobe assistants will be working backstage simultaneously to ensure lightning-fast costume changes for the troupe, while audiences will witness 22 dynamic scenery transformations throughout the show. For each performance, the massive arena space will be masterfully transformed into an authentic, luxurious theater. The cozy, chamber-like atmosphere created here will allow every guest to feel like a part of the real Paris Opera.

The internationally acclaimed masterpiece will be performed in its original English language. To ensure that the audience doesn't miss a single detail, Lithuanian subtitles will be displayed on the arena screens. This will be an exclusive opportunity to witness a top-tier show that meets the highest standards of Broadway and London's West End theaters right in our country. The audience will be amazed not only by the brilliant music but also by the lavish stage design, modern lighting solutions, and special pyrotechnic effects.

The legendary chandelier remains the most recognizable feature of "The Phantom of the Opera." This three-meter-wide giant weighs more than a ton, and its exceptional brilliance is created by as many as 6,000 crystal beads. A special 3.5-ton capacity lifting system will be installed backstage to control the breathtaking fall of the chandelier, which is one of the most anticipated and dramatic climaxes of the musical.
