Lemon Joy adds extra Vilnius date: "Sometimes it's easier to book foreign stars"

Lemon Joy’s end-of-August concert in Vilnius has become a cherished tradition. This year, fans are in for a double treat! As tickets for the August 25th show at Vasaros Terasa are nearly sold out, an additional performance has been announced for August 26th. Tickets for this new date are available starting today.

"Last year, tickets for Lemon Joy’s Vilnius concert were completely snapped up more than a month and a half before the show. This year, the interest is even higher—despite the event being more than three months away, tickets are almost gone. We are very pleased that Igoris Kofas agreed to hold an additional performance to delight even more music fans; honestly, it’s often easier to persuade foreign musicians to perform," said Vaidas Stackevičius, head of the music agency M.P.3.

Following the Vilnius shows, Lemon Joy will perform their only summer concert in Kaunas on September 5th at the VDU Botanikos sodas, as part of the "Botaninės naktys" festival. No further performances by the group have been announced at this time.

In late April, Lemon Joy re-released the vinyl edition of their album Willkommen, featuring some of the group's biggest hits, including "Be atšvaitų" and "Ylang Ylang." The record is available at the online store Buymusic.lt.

This year, the music agency M.P.3 also invites fans to eight performances of The Phantom of the Opera at Arena Vilnius in May, shows by the Latvian group Tautumeitas during the Midsummer (Joninės) celebrations in Palanga and Vilnius in June, as well as concerts by the "stage hooligans" Gogol Bordello and electronic music romantics Camouflage in Vilnius this July and October.
