Exclusive "The Phantom of the Opera" Vinyl Presentation at the Book Fair

Music lovers visiting this weekend’s bustling Vilnius Book Fair are in for a special treat – the newly released white vinyl edition of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical The Phantom of the Opera. This iconic recording by the Original London Cast, which will tour Lithuania from May 19–24, will be available as a limited-edition white double LP at the "M.P.3" music agency and "Buymusic.lt" music store stand.

"We are thrilled not only to bring the world’s most popular musical to Vilnius but also that Buymusic.lt has become the official distributor of this commemorative vinyl in Lithuania. This year saw the release of the 40th-anniversary double vinyl, and from tomorrow, guests of the Book Fair’s 'Music Hall' will be the first in Lithuania to purchase it," said Vaidas Stackevičius, head of the "M.P.3" company.

A.L. Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera is one of the most celebrated musicals of all time, and this award-winning 1986 Original London Cast masterpiece remains the definitive musical theatre recording. Michael Crawford’s Tony Award-winning performance as The Phantom and Sarah Brightman’s portrayal of Christine Daaé helped make this one of the best-selling cast recordings in history.

This limited-edition classic album introduces the unforgettable score to a new generation of listeners. On October 31, 2025, the famous composer’s music catalogue recorded a record-breaking 20.5 million single-day streams across digital platforms – a testament to the musical’s longevity and its passionate global fanbase.

The original West End and Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera is presented by lead producer Broadway Entertainment Group in association with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Really Useful Group, Baltic Music Group, and the "M.P.3" music agency.

A.L. Webber’s phenomenal The Phantom of the Opera will embark on its first-ever tour in our country. Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, the legendary musical will be performed at the Twinsbet Arena in Vilnius from May 19–24. Six consecutive performances are scheduled: two are already 90 % sold out, three have sold over half of their tickets, and an additional show was recently announced due to overwhelming demand.
