The legendary gothic rock band Siela, after a long creative hiatus, is set to release a new album and has unveiled a new song. One of the most prominent icons of the Lithuanian alternative scene has joined forces with Lemon Joy vocalist Igoris Kofas to record the track "Akmeny gėlės". This is the fourth single from Siela's upcoming album Haliucinacijos, which will be launched this Saturday (January 31) during an exclusive concert at the Loftas Art Factory in Vilnius.
The latest single "Akmeny gėlės" carries a special sound, recorded as a duet with Igoris Kofas. It is a powerful, emotionally concentrated song born from contrasts. According to Siela's frontman Aurelijus Sirgedas, it became clear during the creative process that the track demanded a dialogue between two voices.
"While writing this song, I realized that performing it as a duet—with both low and high registers—would be a fantastic idea. Igoris Kofas's voice resonated clearly in my head; it fits this song perfectly," says Aurelijus Sirgedas.

Upon being invited to join the project, Igoris Kofas accepted immediately, drawn to the song's mood. The creative partnership formed naturally, and both artists agree the final result exceeded expectations. This is not their first collaboration; for Siela's 20th anniversary, Kofas recorded a cover of "Sprogęs mano tikėjimas," which became a highlight of that period.
This Saturday at Loftas, Siela returns with a refreshed lineup featuring a new guitarist and cellist. Fans will hear new tracks alongside legendary hits that have become dark rock classics. The stage will feature a blend of music, lights, and shadows, with the gothic atmosphere enhanced by dancers and theatrical elements. The concert's aesthetic is being crafted by light director Marius Selevičius.
"Akmeny gėlės" will be performed live for the first time at the Haliucinacijos album launch, featuring Igoris Kofas as a special guest. Last week, Kofas also made a guest appearance at the debut album launch of the alternative rock band Katarsis, where they performed the Lemon Joy classic "Balta meilė."
One of Lithuania's most popular and long-standing bands, Lemon Joy, is also inviting fans to an exclusive event. The band, which performs live infrequently, will take the stage at the Kaunas Sports Hall on February 13, the eve of Valentine's Day, to perform their greatest hits like "Mylėt tave taip beprotiška ir keista," "Balta meilė," and others.
