Gogol Bordello presents a new song: the video features Hollywood star Liev Schreiber

New York band Gogol Bordello, which will perform at Vilnius' Vasaros terasa on July 30 this year, has released its latest single, Ignition. This track is the third look at the album We Mean It, Man!, which will be released on February 13. The video for the song Ignition features movie star Liev Schreiber. Tickets for the Gogol Bordello concert are being sold by Shownet.lt.

The video features a 20-year friendship with a Hollywood star

The video for the song Ignition has become a special collaboration: together with Gogol Bordello frontman Eugene Hütz, the famous US actor Liev Schreiber (known from the TV series Ray Donovan and the films X-Men, Spotlight and many others) starred in it. The actor and singer have a 20-year friendship, which began with 2005 movie "Everything Is Illuminated", directed by L. Schreiber, and E. Hütz played the main role in it.

"This song is about the most precious currency - lifelong friendship and trust. Liev is exactly the person who will pull you out of the ditch at 5 o'clock in the morning," - said E. Hütz about the choice to invite the actor.

"He is my soul brother. Absurdly crazy, but with the heart, mind and voice of a true poet," - said Liev Schreiber about the leader of "Gogol Bordello".

World tour and concert in Lithuania

After presenting the album in February, "Gogol Bordello" will embark on a tour of North America, and in the summer the concerts will move to Europe. During the world tour, the group will visit Latvia, Estonia and other countries, and in Lithuania they will perform on July 30 in Vilnius, at "Vasaros terasas". It is believed that this will be perhaps the most impressive summer concert in the capital.
